Well... the time to leave for Tanzania is coming so soon! I never would have dreamed it would come this quick. Our last week at school has been a good one, full of spending time with friends, doing homework (of course), and missions preparation. We have been learning all sorts of things about what to expect when we enter a new country and, probably one of the biggest things I have learned, is that my expectations will probably be a tad inaccurate.
Even though I really don't know what to expect, I know that God will work in incredible ways, and we will learn amazing things as we experience this new culture. I think it is safe to say that all of the members on our team are a bit hesitant and nervous, but excitement is also there, becoming greater and greater all the time.
We would love prayer in the next few weeks for calmed nerves and increasing excitement. As well, that our preparation and packing would go well, and that our time with our families and friends would be meaningful and full of love during the Christmas break, before we leave for 3 weeks. We would also love it if you prayed that our hearts, as well as the hearts of the people of Tanzania, would be softened and moldable so that our experiences with each other would shape us as God desires them to be shaped.
Thank you so much for your prayers.
Much Love and God Bless,
Becca
